This tribute headgear is no doubt one of the most accurate fan reproductions ever. We started with a screen lineage headgear that was badly restored. This piece was scanned to get the overall size, shape, and dimensions, and then details that were restored poorly were digitally modified to fit numerous reference photos of the actual pieces used and compared to a production mold cast piece owned by an associate. The texture of the production mold cast piece was then digitally mapped to add to this restoration. Unlike many digital models and other sculpts, many of the asymmetrical details and imperfections present in the original pieces were kept for this version, including the slightly higher left eyebrow and slightly larger jaw opening (the original was not snug fitting like many fan tribute pieces have been) Available in 24” and soon in 23” sizes.
